Football Recap: Lincoln Beats Power/Dutton-Brady for Their Third Straight Victory

Lincoln entered their tilt with Power/Dutton-Brady on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the Titans 54-38. The Lynx have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Titans, too.

Lincoln had a senior duo take command as Kayden Riddle threw for 245 yards and four TDs while picking up 11.1 yards per attempt and Dylan Jakushak gained 184 total yards and three touchdowns. Jakushak also set a new season-high mark in receiving yards with 108.

Lincoln didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Riddle and Austen Salber. Riddle has been hot recently, having also posted four or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Power/Dutton-Brady, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 48-15 win against Hot Springs on the 26th. Power/Dutton-Brady does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
