Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Dakota Ridge

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Dakota Ridge walked away with it. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Legacy Lightning on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Whitney Dewicki paced Dakota Ridge's offense, picking up 28 kills. Dewicki got some help from Katherine Weiser and her 39 assists. Olivia Phillips controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Dakota Ridge's win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Legacy, their defeat ended an eight-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-4.

Dakota Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Ralston Valley on the 11th. Legacy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
