Lakeside Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. The matchup between the Warriors and the Edgewood Crusaders didn't end well, with the Warriors falling 49-32. On the bright side, the 32- point performance marked the Warriors' highest-scoring contest to date.

Lakeside Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Edgewood, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeside Lutheran will host Mount Horeb/Barneveld at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games. As for Edgewood, they will welcome Stoughton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders will be up against the Vikings' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.5 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
