After losing to Sierra the last time they met, Mitchell decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Marauders came out on top in a nail-biter against the Stallions on Thursday, sneaking past 6-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Marauders.

The team relied heavily on Mason Cherrie, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Tyreece Roberts, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Mitchell always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They are 3-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Mitchell's win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Sierra, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mitchell will square off against Ellicott at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sierra, they will take on Gateway at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Stallions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Olympians have averaged an impressive 10.5 runs per game this season.
