Outlook:
Despite losing three of its final five games of the regular season, Sierra has found a way to fight through the postseason and reach the IV-A state championship game. Normally a prolific offensive school, defense has been the key of late for Sierra, as it won by a shutout in the section championship game and limited Sutter to 13 points in the regional. Chowchilla will try to grind it out on the ground against Sierra with a talented pair of running backs in Anthony Stewart and Alex Gutierrez.
