Basketball Recap: Shenandoah Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Shenandoah extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 3-2. They skirted past the Nebraska City Pioneers 49-47. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Mustangs have posted since February 6th.

As for Nebraska City, they now have a losing record of 2-3. They haven't had much luck with Shenandoah recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Despite the loss, Nebraska City still got an impressive performance from Kaiden Klassen, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. With that strong performance, Klassen is now averaging an impressive 15.6 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Walker, who posted nine points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Shenandoah didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 42-37 win against Clarinda on the 15th. As for Nebraska City, they have also already played their next contest, a 68-29 loss against Syracuse on the 16th.
