Palo Alto won the last time they faced Lynbrook and things went their way on Wednesday too. Palo Alto put the hurt on Lynbrook with a sharp 19-3 victory. Palo Alto might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by nine runs or more this season.

Kira Tzeng made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Tzeng was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two triples, two stolen bases, and three runs. Those two triples gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kendall Butler, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Riannah Soliman was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI.

Palo Alto kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are 8-2 when they post 11 or more hits.

Palo Alto's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-8. As for Lynbrook, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

Palo Alto will square off against Santa Clara at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lynbrook, they will challenge Cupertino at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Pioneers have now posted at least ten runs in their last five games.
