Volleyball Recap: Phoenix Comes Up Short

The Phoenix Pirates lost 3-0 to the Ashland Grizzlies on Monday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Phoenix's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ashland, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Phoenix will square off against rival North Medford at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ashland is set to take on their familiar foe St. Mary's at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
