Basketball Recap: North Boone Takes a Loss

North Boone lost against Winnebago back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The North Boone Vikings fell 54-41 to the Winnebago Indians.

North Boone's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Winnebago, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-15.

North Boone and Winnebago could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. North Boone will take on Byron at 6:45 p.m. on Friday down 316 places (525 vs. 209). Meanwhile, Winnebago (ranked 327th) will meet Rockford Christian (ranked 83rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
