Basketball Game Preview: Burlingame Bearcats vs. West Elk Patriots

The Burlingame Bearcats are taking a road trip to face off against the West Elk Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Monday, Burlingame came up short against Bishop Seabury Academy and fell 64-56. The Bearcats haven't had much luck with the Seahawks recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, West Elk was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 55-51 to Flinthills.

Burlingame suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 12-2-2. As for West Elk, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 10-7.
