Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Ranch). They put the hurt on the Castaic Coyotes with a sharp 4-1 win on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wildcats needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

They hit Castaic with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Brandon Salazar, Camden O'Neil, Logan Sanchez, and Lj Kenney.

West Ranch's victory bumped their record up to 6-4-3. As for Castaic, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Ranch will challenge Canyon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Castaic, they will face off against Golden Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Golden Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.
