Basketball Game Preview: Park City Miners vs. Jordan Beetdiggers + Official Tickets

Park City is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will take on the Jordan Beetdiggers at 5:15 p.m. One thing working in Park City's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.

Park City is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Wasatch just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Wasps, falling 83-58.

Despite the defeat, Park City had strong showings from Penn Larkin, who shot 45% from the field to rack up 30 points, and Luke Rice, who posted 15 points and eight rebounds. With that strong performance, Larkin is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game.

Meanwhile, Jordan lost to Elko at home by a 74-58 margin on Saturday.

Park City suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 4-2. As for Jordan, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Park City couldn't quite get it done against Jordan in their previous matchup back in January as they fell 89-76. Can the Miners avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
