Volleyball Recap: Cedar Ridge Takes a Loss

Cedar Ridge suffered their biggest loss since August 14th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Stony Point Tigers. The defeat continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost five in a row.

While Cedar Ridge ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 25-23.

Cedar Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Stony Point, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Cedar Ridge will face off against Ingram Moore at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Stony Point, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Tomball on the 28th.
