Basketball Recap: Jeffersontown Victorious

On Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Jeffersontown Chargers beat the Christian Academy Warriors 57-51.

When it comes to explaining why Christian Academy lost, don't look at David Cook. Despite the final result, he went 10 of 19 on his way to 24 points and seven boards. Cook's evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Renfro, who went 5 for 11 en route to 12 points.

Jeffersontown's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.

Jeffersontown has already played their next match (against Shawnee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Paoli at 7:30 p.m. on January 25th.
