Basketball Recap: Cuthbertson Takes a Loss

Cuthbertson lost against Marvin Ridge back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The match between the Cuthbertson Cavaliers and the Marvin Ridge Mavericks didn't end well, with the Cuthbertson Cavaliers falling 56-41.

Brady Dunn was nothing short of spectacular for Marvin Ridge: he went 11 of 18 on his way to 28 points. Another player making a difference was Henry Smith, who posted seven points and nine rebounds.

Cuthbertson has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record this season. As for Marvin Ridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-11.

Cuthbertson will head out on the road to challenge Porter Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marvin Ridge, they will be playing at home against Sun Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Marvin Ridge is facing Sun Valley at the right time seeing as Sun Valley is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
