Football Game Preview: Montcalm Generals vs. Tygarts Valley Bulldogs

The Montcalm Generals will head out to challenge the Tygarts Valley Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Montcalm will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

Montcalm is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Bland County 55-14 on Tuesday. The Generals haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Tygarts Valley had taken Pocahontas County down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Bulldogs lost 41-16 to the Warriors. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 26, 2018, but that streak is no more.

Montcalm's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Tygarts Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
