Broadneck is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Severn Run with a sharp 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, Churchill faced Richard Montgomery in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Rockets. The game was the first time the Bulldogs have beaten the Rockets on their court since October 3, 2022.

Churchill wouldn't go down easily and took Richard Montgomery into a fifth set where they got it done with a ten-point win. The final score came out to 25-21, 13-25, 21-25, 25-18, 15-5.

Broadneck's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Churchill, their victory bumped their record up to 14-9.
