Volleyball Recap: St. Joseph-Ogden Finds Home Court Redemption Against Rock Island

There's no place like home for St. Joseph-Ogden, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Rock Island Rocks 2-1 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Spartans have posted since September 23rd.

St. Joseph-Ogden's win bumped their record up to 10-18. As for Rock Island, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-16.

St. Joseph-Ogden and Rock Island could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Spartans will square off against St. Thomas More at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (376 vs. 105). Meanwhile, Rock Island (ranked 285th) will meet Geneseo (ranked 108th) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
