Northwest Christian proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by seven) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Seton Catholic Sentinels. Winning may never get old, but the Crusaders sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Northwest Christian pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Seton Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-7.

Looking ahead, Northwest Christian will be taking part in a tournament against Cathedral Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Seton Catholic, they will head out to challenge Coolidge at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Sentinels' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bears have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season.
