It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cape Fear can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to the Fuquay - Varina Bengals on Thursday. It was the first time this season that Cape Fear let down their fans at home.

Cape Fear's defeat dropped their record down to 16-4-2. As for Fuquay - Varina, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-6-3.
