Basketball Recap: Brazos' Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Brazos was the 48-31 winner over East Bernard when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Brazos Cougars fell to the East Bernard Brahmas 40-35.

Brazos' loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-11. As for East Bernard, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-13 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brazos won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Hitchcock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Bernard, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Boling at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. East Bernard is on a five-game streak of home wins, Boling a six-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
