Soccer Recap: Reagan Takes a Loss

Reagan lost against Somerset Academy back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Reagan Bison fell just short of the Somerset Academy Panthers by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Bison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 230th, while the Panthers are ranked 24th).

Reagan's goal came courtesy of Alessandro Martini, which was the first he's scored this season.

Reagan dropped their record down to 2-5-2 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Somerset Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0-1.

Reagan will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Belen Jesuit at 2:30 p.m. As for Somerset Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge NSU University at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
