Football Recap: Timpson Piles Up the Points Against Hemphill

While Timpson put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Hemphill. The Bears took their matchup with ease, bagging a 55-0 victory over the Hornets. Given the Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 523rd, while the Hornets are ranked 1073rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win got Timpson back to even at 3-3. As for Hemphill, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Timpson is set to challenge their familiar foe Shelbyville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hemphill will take on rival Joaquin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
