Lawrence Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They blew past Neuse Christian Academy 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-12, 25-14.

Lee Christian won the last time they faced North Hills Christian and Kayce Deese did her part to make sure it happened again. The Falcons blew past the Eagles 3-0 on Saturday thanks in part to Deese, who had 16 digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

While Lee Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 28-26.

Lee Christian's win came from a few key players Lawrence Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Nevaeh Matthews, who had five digs and four aces. Those five digs gave her a new career-high.

Lee Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 23 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in five consecutive matchups.
