Basketball Recap: Luke Sanders' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Pisgah over Lake + How To Watch

Pisgah lost against Lake back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dragons fell 49-43 to the Hornets.

Pisgah lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Luke Sanders, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. His big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Rhett Robertson was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 12 boards.

Pisgah's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Lake, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, Pisgah will head out on the road to square off against Pelahatchie at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Dragons are facing the Chiefs at the right time seeing as the Chiefs are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Lake, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Newton County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
