Volleyball Recap: Port Arthur Memorial Comes Up Short

Port Arthur Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Kelly Catholic Bulldogs. The Titans were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in August of 2019.

Port Arthur Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Kelly Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Coming up, Port Arthur Memorial will head out to face off against West Orange-Stark at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kelly Catholic, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Silsbee on the 16th.
