Softball Recap: Dorman Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ashley Ridge, Dorman was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They skirted past the Lugoff-Elgin Demons 3-1. The Cavaliers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Anna Grace Ellason was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. Those hits marked the first that she has got this season.

Dorman's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Lugoff-Elgin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Dorman didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-3 defeat against Saluda on the 7th. As for Lugoff-Elgin, they will face off against West Florence at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Demons their first taste of in-conference action this season.
