            Volleyball Recap: Tolleson Wolverines vs. Shadow Ridge Stallions        
        
		
        
        
            Tolleson was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They came up short against  the Shadow Ridge Stallions, falling  3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Stallions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-0  last Tuesday.
 While Tolleson was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Shadow Ridge's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-19,  25-20.
 Brooklyn Harris paced Tolleson's offense, picking up six kills. Harris got some help from  Rebecca Moreno Grijalva and her five assists. Moreno Grijalva was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with two aces.
 Shadow Ridge got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Samantha Montoya out in front who  had six  digs and six assists.
Tolleson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Shadow Ridge, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record  this season.
 Tolleson has  already played their next  matchup (against Kofa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Shadow Ridge also has no score uploaded for their next  match, this one against West Point.
