Basketball Recap: Parsippany's Run of Three Straight Wins Now Over

Parsippany was the 73-67 winner over Morristown-Beard when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Parsippany Redhawks took a hard 56-41 fall against the Morristown-Beard Crimson on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Redhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 231st, while the Crimson are ranked 71st).

When it comes to explaining why Parsippany lost, don't look at Arthur Smith. Despite the final result, he went 5 for 9 en route to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of David Niedermaier, who posted ten points.

The loss snapped Parsippany's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-4 record. As for Morristown-Beard, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
