Erie is 9-1 against Eureka since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The two teams will face off at 7:00 p.m. without much rest, having both just played. Erie is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

Eureka better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Erie really get things going. Erie blew past Northeast 61-41 on Monday.

Reid Duff was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 26 points and 14 boards. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Erie's points. Parker Hughes was another key player, putting up nine points.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 65-36, which was the final score in Eureka's tilt against Fredonia on Monday. The Tornadoes haven't had much luck with the Yellowjackets recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Eureka's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Erie, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.

Erie was able to grind out a solid victory over Eureka when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 56-45. Will Erie repeat their success, or does Eureka have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
