Soccer Recap: Rising Sun's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Rising Sun lost against Switzerland County back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Shiners fell just short of the Pacers by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to Rising Sun's undefeated start to the season.

Their goal came courtesy of DJ Williams, who's now up to two this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Rising Sun fell to 2-1-1. As for Switzerland County, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Rising Sun will be playing in front of their home fans against Milan at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Switzerland County, they will head out to take on Silver Creek at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Switzerland County will be up against Silver Creek's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.75 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
