Soccer Recap: Loveland's Undefeated Season over After Ten Games

After flying high against Lebanon on Tuesday, Loveland came back down to earth. The Tigers fell just short of the Kings Knights by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Loveland came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while Kings are ranked 91st).

Having lost for the first time this season, Loveland fell to 8-1-1. As for Kings, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2-1.

Kings has already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Mariemont on the 20th. Hopefully Loveland paid attention to the Knights' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
