The result was an unpleasant reminder to New Covenant Academy of the 6-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

New Covenant Academy now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Monett, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
