Volleyball Recap: Wilmington Christian Academy Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wake Christian Academy, Wilmington Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Epiphany Falcons. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-15, 22-25, 25-16.

The victory got Wilmington Christian Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Epiphany, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilmington Christian Academy will head out to take on Southeastern HomeSchool at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Epiphany, they will challenge Gramercy Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
