Burroughs had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Villa Duchesne Saints by a score of 3-1. The Bombers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Saints, too.

Burroughs was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-12, 22-25, 25-11.

Burroughs was led to victory by Sophie Zhang and Bailey Biggs. Zhang had 14 digs and seven aces, while Biggs had ten digs and three aces. What's more, Biggs posted four assists, the most she's had over her last nine contests.

They weren't the only good server: Burroughs was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 26 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive matchups.

Burroughs now has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for Villa Duchesne, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Burroughs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Lutheran South on the 17th. As for Villa Duchesne, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Incarnate Word Academy on the 18th.
