Baseball Recap: Divine Child Victorious

Divine Child owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They walked away with a 5-0 win over the University of Detroit Jesuit Cubs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 on Friday.

Divine Child saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Davis, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Matthew Esparza also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Divine Child hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as University of Detroit Jesuit struck out 15 times.

Divine Child is set to face off against their familiar foe Notre Dame Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, University of Detroit Jesuit will take on rival De La Salle Collegiate at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
