Basketball Recap: Kennett Takes a Loss

Kennett came up into this matchup off a tough 24-point loss last Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Dexter Bearcats by a score of 55-52 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Indians have suffered since February 2nd.

Kennett's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Dexter, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Kennett and Charleston will face off at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. As for Dexter, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Sikeston at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dexter has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 186 points over their last three contests.
