Volleyball Recap: Lake Mead Christian Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lake Mead Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Founders Classical Academy Centurions. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Centurions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Lake Mead Christian Academy sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-19, 17-25, 19-17.

Dakota Perkins was the offensive standout of the match as she had 16 digs and two aces. Those 16 digs gave her a new career-high.

Lake Mead Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Founders Classical Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Centurions beat Lake Mead Christian Academy by a score of 2-1 later that day.
