The Center Hill Mustangs will head out on the road to take on the Grenada Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Center Hill never got on the board in their matchup two weeks ago, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Independence last Thursday. Everything went their way against the Wildcats as they made off with a 14-4 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Center Hill.
Meanwhile, Grenada beat Lake Cormorant on Wednesday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-2.
Center Hill has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-9-1 record this season. As for Grenada, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
Center Hill came up short against Grenada in their previous meeting back in April of 2019, falling 5-1. Thankfully for Center Hill, Kira Finkley (who struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and not a single walk)) won't be suiting up this time.
