Windsor has gone a perfect 8-0 against Pueblo East recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Windsor Wizards will welcome the Pueblo East Eagles at 12:00 p.m. Windsor is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.8 runs per game this season.

Windsor was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Denver East on Thursday. Windsor blew past Denver East 12-2. The game marked the Wizards' most dominant win of the season so far.

Grant Kerber spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, Ethan Fillinger was a standout: he scored two runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Tripp Thomas, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4.

Windsor always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .585. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, Pueblo East entered their contest against Palisade on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Pueblo East lost 13-2 to Palisade. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Windsor pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Pueblo East, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Windsor was able to grind out a solid win over Pueblo East in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, winning 6-3. Will Windsor repeat their success, or does Pueblo East have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
