Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln won the last time they faced Wausau East and things went their way on Thursday too. Everything went the Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Red Raiders' way against the Wausau East Lumberjacks as the Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Red Raiders made off with a 60-34 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Raiders.

Wausau East's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Evelyn Thome, who posted six points along with 22 rebounds and four blocks. Thome is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Bass, who scored eight points and six steals.

Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Wausau East, they dropped their record down to 0-16 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Medford at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Wausau East, they and Wausau West will meet in a classic East v. West matchup at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
