Basketball Recap: Geneva Takes a Loss

Geneva has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 49-40 to the West Aurora Blackhawks on Monday. The contest marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Geneva's loss dropped their record down to 17-4. As for West Aurora, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-8.

Geneva will host Wheaton-Warrenville South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Aurora, they will challenge Ridgewood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
