Basketball Recap: Rouse Comes Up Short

Rouse has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a hard 53-36 fall against the Liberty Hill Panthers on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-33 back in December of 2025.

Rouse's loss dropped their record down to 19-11. As for Liberty Hill, they pushed their record up to 24-6 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Rouse will square off against rival Hays at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Liberty Hill is set to face off against their familiar foe Lockhart at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
