Softball Recap: LaBrae Vikings vs. Brookfield Warriors

LaBrae can now show off 15 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They blew past the Brookfield Warriors 10-1. The win was nothing new for LaBrae as they're now sitting on three straight.

Leah DeArmitt was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). DeArmitt was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Rylee McDonough was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two triples, three RBI, and a run. Another player making a difference was Shelby Bragg, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4.

On Brookfield's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cadence Huffman, who went 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI.
