Volleyball Recap: Mount Juliet Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Mount Juliet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Gallatin Green Wave. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Bears of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 25-9.

Mount Juliet's offense was headlined by Kynlee Johnson and Ashlyn Elliott, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Annabella Brewer and her six assists.

Mount Juliet's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Gallatin, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Mount Juliet will host Beech at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gallatin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Springfield at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
