Baseball Recap: Bromfield Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Bromfield's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Quabbin Regional Panthers on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Trojans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Bromfield's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Quabbin Regional, they now have a winning record of 4-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bromfield will square off against rival Murdock at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Quabbin Regional is set to take on their familiar foe West Boylston at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
