Sterlington came up short on Thursday despite Gaven Evans delivering his best game to date. Evans almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds, good enough to set a new career-high in points in the process.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Sterlington Panthers duke it out with the Madison Jaguars at 6:20 p.m. on Saturday. Sterlington hasn't beaten Madison recently, having gone 0-4 since January of 2018.
