Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Winter Springs). They never let the Seminole Seminoles get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory on Friday. Considering the Bears have won seven games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Tripp Rosenberger looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Owen Swanson and Luke Walters did most of the damage at the plate: Swanson scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Walters scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Everson Jackson was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.

Winter Springs has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Seminole, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-17.

Winter Springs has already played their next match, a 7-2 victory against Montverde Academy on the 31st. As for Seminole, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-4 win against Oviedo on the 1st.
