Basketball Recap: Ithaca Triumphs

Ithaca won against Wauzeka-Steuben on Monday with 60 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Bulldogs skirted past the Seneca Indians 60-58. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since January 14, 2025.

Ithaca is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points over those games. As for Seneca, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Ithaca will venture away from home to face off against Brookwood at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Falcons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 64.22 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Seneca, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Weston on Tuesday.
