Football Recap: South Broward Takes a Loss + How To Watch

South Broward played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 43-14 loss at the hands of the Piper Bengals. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Despite the loss, South Broward still got an impressive performance from Javon Betts, who rushed for 56 yards and one touchdown. Betts was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 56 yards.

Jahnard Young had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 100 yards and a pair of TDs on only 11 carries for Piper. Young is becoming a predictor of the Bengals' success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 5-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).

This is the second loss in a row for South Broward and nudges their season record down to 3-7. As for Piper, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

As of now, neither South Broward nor Piper have any future games scheduled.
